Hi My name is Tash

I am diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I was abused, bullied, rejected by family and my father abandoned me when my parents divorced. There were a lot of contributing factors to why I developed BPD. And although its now 2016 and I have done some of DBT and doing Living Skills Groups I still fit the critera.

To put it bluntly; its hell having BPD. Not knowing yourself, what your going to wake up to and that’s hell! Its almost like we are walking on eggshells around ourselves, because we can trigger ourselves, there sometimes isn’t an external stimuli to what can cause a “borderline moment” it can just happen.

If you like me have another diagnosis/es alongside such as Bipolar (example but also because I have been diagnosed with Bipolar) then this hell we live with just got worse.

I’ve ruined friendships, I’m slowly rebuilding friendships, some are un-repairable. I accept now that my actions have consequences and that I am learning from my mistakes its not a easy task but one that is very much needed in my case.

Im a mum, wife and friend; I also have a mental illness. Hi!!!

Good luck in your journey. It is a hard one but well worth it.

  • Hey 🙂

I’ve been reading your blog and it’s incredibly interesting!

I wanted to quickly message you and find out whether or not you’d be interested in taking part in my Mental Health Art Auction.

It’s a new project I’m running whereby we aim to raise awareness, fight stigma and raise money for charity.

The bloggers that will take part will be required to write posts –
    promoting the auction
    talking about their experiences
    explaining why they’re taking part

However the level of commitment is completely up to the individual blogger – any help is appreciated!

Please check out this link and let me know if you’d like to become involved –

We’d love to have you on board.
